Spanish as a foreign language
Mission
Our mission is for students to develop their communication skills in Spanish to satisfy their immediate needs in an efficient and practical way. We use a communicative approach, working with grammatical, lexical, pragmatic, and socio-cultural content by developing comprehension, expression, and interaction skills both in written and spoken language.
Team
Our team of professionals is highly trained and committed to quality teaching, innovation, and guiding each student. We make an effort to help students to reflect on their own learning style and strategies to maximize their experience in their Spanish courses.
Custom Courses
We offer custom courses for our partner universities, combining Spanish classes designed according to their students’ needs with a cultural experience in the university environment and in the city of Zaragoza.
Collaboration
The Institute of Modern Languages works with the NGO ACCEM teaching Spanish for speakers of other language reinforcement classes to aid users’ integration and psychological and social wellbeing.
Certification
We are administrators of the Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) exam.
Vision
We are constantly growing, with the goal of becoming a benchmark in Spanish language and culture teaching, thereby supporting San Jorge University's strategic plan for international recognition.
