Spanish as a foreign language diploma (DELE)

Spanish as a Foreign Language Diplomas (DELE) are an official certificate accrediting levels of competency and command of the Spanish language issued by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports.

The DELE accepts all varieties of Spanish and they are all considered equally valid for getting the certificate. There are 6 certifications available, based on the level of linguistic competence they evaluate (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2). These official certificates are recognized internationally by various companies and institutions and are valid indefinitely. They never expire.
